During a guided meditation, a meditation expert skillfully guides you into a state of deep relaxation. As you relax, your mind calms and slows down so that your subconscious mind, the gateway to your inner self, becomes more accessible.
Your guide will help you to explore your inner thoughts and feelings. Depending upon the goal of the meditation, you may be directed toward an understanding of Higher Consciousness and gain valuable insights that were once
hidden from you.
The benefits of guided meditation are that you reach a deeper state faster because you have a skilled guide. Sometimes during meditation, the mind has a tendency to wander, but with a guide directing your thoughts and gently
steering them, you are more likely to stay focused upon your goal. The deeper you go, the more relaxed you become, and the more you relaxed you are, the greater the physical benefits.
Meditation lowers blood pressure and relaxes muscles. Studies have shown that guided relaxation can improve many bodily functions and overall health. Plus, it just feels so good!
